We recommend choosing a blanket that’s about 8–12% of your body weight. Here’s a quick guide:
50–65 kg (110–145 lbs) → 6 kg blanket
65–80 kg (145–175 lbs) → 8 kg blanket
80–100 kg (175–220 lbs) → 10 kg blanket
100–120+ kg (220–265+ lbs) → 12 kg blanket
Is it too hot for summer?
Not at all, its not too hot and accessible for 4 seasons. However, if you are really a hot sleeper, and you want to be sure for summer you can choose our cooling weighted blanket, made from breathable bamboo or Tencel. These regulate temperature and wick away moisture, making them perfect for year-round use, even in warm climates.
Is the blanket washable?
Yes! Most of our blankets come with a removable cover that is machine washable up to 60°C.
The inner weighted layer can be spot-cleaned or professionally washed, depending on the weight. Always check the care label.
Can children use weighted blankets?
Yes, but only under supervision and with an appropriate weight and size. We recommend:
3–5 kg for children between 20–40 kg
Always consult with a pediatrician or occupational therapist for children under age 5.
